Day 1: Diani to Tsavo East
Your Kenya Tours and Safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Diani Beach hotel at 5:30 am. Travel through the Kenyan countryside on a scenic four-hour drive before entering Tsavo East National Park. As the sun rises, the wilderness unveils its beauty—flat plains dotted with acacia trees, red earth, and open horizons.
Upon entering the park, your adventure truly begins with an en-route game drive toward your lodge. Keep your eyes open for elephants covered in red dust, herds of buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and predators like lions and leopards. The park’s Galana River, fed by the Tsavo and Athi rivers, offers waterholes where hippos and crocodiles thrive. Look out for the impressive Yatta Plateau on the horizon, a geological marvel that stretches for nearly 300 km.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and relax before heading back into the park for an afternoon game drive. As the sun begins to set, the golden light enhances your chances of spotting elusive creatures. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the wild sounds of Tsavo.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Diani
The second day of your Kenya Tours and Safari starts early with a 6:30 am game drive, when predators such as cheetahs, lions, and silver-backed jackals are most active. The cooler morning hours offer the best opportunities for incredible sightings, from greater kudus and hartebeests to elegant giraffes and herds of elephants.
After this exhilarating drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Begin your journey back with another en-route game drive, maximizing your wildlife viewing experience across Tsavo’s vast landscapes. Watch the savannah come alive as you spot more species and capture your final photographs of this majestic park.
Around midday, stop for lunch at a local restaurant (not included in the package) to sample Kenyan cuisine before continuing your drive back to Diani Beach.
