2-Day Safari from Zanzibar to Serengeti & Ngorongoro

This short but action-packed safari takes you from Zanzibar to two of Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations—Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. Perfect for travelers short on time, this fly-in/fly-out safari includes luxury lodging at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge and exclusive game drives. The offer is available during the Green Season (Nov–mid-Dec & Apr–May) when the parks are lush, uncrowded, and ideal for photography.

Day 1: Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

Your adventure begins with an early pickup at your hotel in Zanzibar (around 6:00 am). You’ll catch an 8:00 am flight to the Seronera Airstrip in the Serengeti, arriving at approximately 10:40 am.

Upon arrival, your guide will welcome you and take you on a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing the safari until late afternoon. Later, check in at your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater & Return to Zanzibar

After breakfast, depart at 6:00 am for the Ngorongoro Crater, a 3-hour drive from Serengeti. You’ll spend the day exploring this natural wonder, home to all members of the Big Five including the rare black rhino, with a picnic lunch inside the crater.

In the afternoon, transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight back to Zanzibar. On arrival at 5:30 pm, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
