Day 1: Mombasa/Diani – Salt Lick Safari Lodge
Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from your beach hotel in Mombasa or Diani. You’ll drive inland toward Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, with an optional visit to Tsavo East National Park en route if requested. Arrive at Taita Hills in time for lunch and check-in, then continue to the famous Salt Lick Safari Lodge. Built on stilts and overlooking a busy waterhole, this lodge offers a front-row seat to wildlife right from your balcony. After some time to relax, head out for an evening game drive through the sanctuary, where you’ll spot elephants, buffalos, giraffes, and possibly big cats. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in this truly unique setting.

Day 2: Salt Lick – Mombasa/Diani
Wake up early for breakfast and a morning game drive as the animals stir in the cool dawn hours. Afterwards, begin your journey back to the coast, with a stop for lunch en route. Your driver will drop you off at your hotel in Mombasa or Diani in the afternoon — concluding your short but memorable safari.
