Day 1: Travel to Akagera & Sunset Boat Ride
After breakfast in Kigali, you’ll drive through Rwanda’s scenic hills to Akagera National Park. By midday, you’ll arrive at Mantis Akagera Game Lodge and check in. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive to see animals like zebras, giraffes, and antelopes.
Later, take a sunset boat ride on Lake Ihema, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and birds like fish eagles as the sun sets over the water.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in the Park
Start the day with breakfast, then head out on a full-day safari across Akagera’s savannahs, woodlands, and lakes. Keep an eye out for the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards. You’ll also spot other wildlife like antelopes, hippos, and many bird species.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the park and continue exploring until evening. Return to the lodge to relax and enjoy dinner.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Return to Kigali
After breakfast, go on one last morning game drive—when animals are most active. It’s a great time to spot lions, giraffes, and birds.
After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch. Then, drive back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon with amazing memories from the wild.
