Your driver-guide will pick you up from your Nairobi hotel or airport and drive you north to Samburu National Reserve. You will arrive in time for lunch at Lion’s Cave Camp Samburu. After settling in, enjoy an afternoon game drive or, if you prefer, visit a local Samburu village to experience the culture. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, spend the day on game drives through Samburu National Reserve and its neighboring parks. With a picnic lunch, explore the semi-arid landscape home to rare animals like the Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Somali ostrich, alongside lions, elephants, leopards, and more. Bird watchers will enjoy spotting a variety of species, including kingfishers, bee-eaters, and eagles. Return to Lion’s Cave Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon and be dropped at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
