Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
You will be picked up early at 7:00 a.m. and begin your journey north. After a few hours, you’ll arrive at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where youโll go on a guided one-hour on-foot rhino tracking adventureโthe only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in the wild. After the experience, youโll stop for lunch in Masindi, then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. This park is famous for its diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes. If time permits, you may go on a late afternoon game drive, offering a chance to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and more. You’ll then check into your lodge for the evening.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Nile
After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive through the park’s rolling plains. Youโll be searching for some of Africaโs most iconic animalsโlions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and, if you’re lucky, a leopard. Bird enthusiasts can look forward to spotting numerous bird species during the drive. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the powerful Murchison Falls. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, and a host of water birds. For those interested, you can choose to hike to the top of the falls for stunning views (optional, $15 per person). Afterward, return to your lodge for a peaceful night.

Day 3: Visit Top of the Falls and Return to Entebbe or Kampala
Following breakfast, you will drive to the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile forces itself through a narrow 7-meter gorge and plunges 43 meters down, creating a spectacular display of raw natural power. After enjoying the view and taking photos, youโll begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe, where the safari ends. Drop-off will be at your hotel or Entebbe International Airport in time for your outbound flight.
