Day 1: Arrival in Maun – Transfer to Thamalakane River Lodge
Arrive at Maun Airport in the afternoon where you’ll be met and transferred to Thamalakane River Lodge, located just outside of Maun along the tranquil Thamalakane River. Depending on the season, you can relax by the pool or opt for an optional afternoon boat cruise (at your own cost).
Enjoy a peaceful dinner at the lodge surrounded by nature.

Day 2: Okavango Delta – Mokoro Excursion & Nature Walk
After breakfast, you’ll depart on a 2-hour drive through local villages to the Gomoti floodplains mokoro station. Here you’ll meet your local poler and embark on a traditional mokoro excursion through the tranquil channels of the Delta. Watch for birds, hippos, and other wildlife.
Later, take part in a guided nature walk on one of the Delta’s islands—track wildlife and learn about the local ecosystem.
Lunch will be served picnic-style in the bush, and the day ends with dinner back at Thamalakane River Lodge, under the stars.

Day 3: Return to Maun
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic game drive on your return journey to Maun. You will be dropped off at your accommodation in Maun or the airport for your onward flight.
