Enjoy lunch en route before continuing toward the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve, where your safari truly begins. In the late afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive across Samburu’s rolling plains and riverine forests. Search for lions, leopards, cheetahs, and buffalo alongside Samburu’s special “northern five”: the Beisa oryx, Grevy’s zebra, long-necked Gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich.
