Day 1: Arrival and Airport Transfer
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport and completion of immigration formalities, you will be met by your safari driver guide who will provide a short briefing before transferring you to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.Accommodation:

Day 2: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel for a Kigali city tour including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. Afterwards, drive north through Rwanda’s scenic countryside to Musanze near Volcanoes National Park. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.Accommodation:

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Cultural Village Visit
After an early breakfast, transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers before beginning your gorilla trek. You will hike through the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. Upon locating them, you will spend one hour observing and photographing these gentle giants. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Iby’iwacu Cultural Village to experience Rwanda’s cultural heritage.Accommodation:

Day 4: Golden Monkey Trekking and Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your golden monkey trek. These endangered monkeys are unique to the Virunga Mountains and are known for their energetic behavior. Return to the lodge for lunch and afterwards transfer back to Kigali. Depending on flight time, there is an option for an additional short city tour before drop-off at Kigali International Airport.
