Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Your journey begins with an early morning pick-up in Nairobi around 6:00 AM. From there, you’ll head to Lake Nakuru National Park, a scenic 2.5 to 3-hour drive. On arrival, you’ll check in at your lodge or campsite and settle in. After lunch, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive through the park. Lake Nakuru is home to thousands of flamingos, as well as rhinos, giraffes, lions, leopards, and over 400 species of birds. After the safari, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you’ll leave Nakuru and begin the scenic 5–6 hour drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley and stop for photos if you’d like. Once you arrive at the Mara, you’ll check in to your lodge or camp. If time allows, you’ll head out for an afternoon game drive, where you might spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and buffaloes. After your drive, return for dinner and an overnight stay in the heart of the Mara.

Day 3: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara
Start your day with an early morning game drive, the best time to see wildlife when animals are most active. After watching the sunrise over the savannah and spotting animals like zebras, giraffes, and antelopes, return to your lodge for breakfast. Later in the day, you have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village (optional, additional cost) to learn about their customs and way of life. You can also relax at the lodge or go on another afternoon or sunset game drive for more wildlife sightings. End your day with dinner and a cozy overnight stay.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy an early breakfast, then head out for one last game drive in the Masai Mara to soak in the sights and sounds of the wild one more time. After checking out, begin your drive back to Nairobi. On the way, you’ll stop for lunch—either as a picnic or at a local restaurant. You’ll arrive back in Nairobi by late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
