Day 1 – Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your Kenya Trips adventure starts in Nairobi, where you are greeted by our representative and your professional driver-guide. After a short briefing, you set off on a four-hour drive southward to Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you through rolling farmlands, small towns, and stretches of open plains until the silhouette of Mount Kilimanjaro comes into view—a breathtaking moment marking your arrival in elephant country.
Upon reaching Amboseli, you check in at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, a beautifully designed lodge nestled in the heart of the park. After a warm welcome and a delicious lunch, you have time to relax before heading out on your first afternoon game drive.
The landscape of Amboseli is dominated by wide-open plains and swamps fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro. This ecosystem attracts vast herds of elephants, often seen marching in family groups across the dusty plains. Day 2 – Full Day in Amboseli
The second day of your Kenya Trips begins with an early morning game drive. Dawn in Amboseli is spectacular, as the snowcapped summit of Kilimanjaro often reveals itself before clouds gather. Herds of elephants, silhouetted against this majestic backdrop, create iconic safari moments.
After breakfast back at the lodge, you embark on another extended game drive. Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to observe elephants at close range, but it also offers excellent chances to spot predators such as lions and cheetahs. Grazers like wildebeest, impalas, and zebras dot the plains, while baboons and vervet monkeys keep the acacia trees lively.
Lunch is served at the lodge, after which you may relax or choose an optional visit to a nearby Maasai village. This cultural experience offers insight into the traditions of the Maasai, a proud nomadic tribe known for their warrior heritage, colorful attire, and strong connection to the land.
In the late afternoon, another game drive reveals the park in softer light, with predators preparing for the evening hunt. By sunset, you return to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge, where dinner and a restful night await.

Day 3 – Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
After an early breakfast, you depart Amboseli and drive westward toward Tsavo West National Park, famous as the land of the “man-eaters of Tsavo,” the lions that became legendary during the construction of the Kenya-Uganda railway in the 1900s.
En route, the landscapes shift dramatically, with volcanic ridges and lava fields giving Tsavo West its rugged beauty. By midday, you arrive at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge, one of Kenya’s first safari lodges, set against the backdrop of the Chyulu Hills and overlooking a busy waterhole. After check-in and lunch, you relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
This drive includes visits to some of Tsavo West’s highlights. At Mzima Springs, you walk along shaded paths to crystal-clear pools fed by underground streams. Hippos, crocodiles, and fish thrive here, and an underwater viewing chamber lets you observe aquatic life from below the surface. You also explore the Shetani and Chaimu lava flows, stark reminders of the park’s volcanic past.
As evening approaches, you may visit the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, a protected area dedicated to conserving the black rhino. Spotting one of these critically endangered animals is a special privilege.
Returning to Kilaguni Serena Lodge for dinner, you enjoy sweeping views of the waterhole, where elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife often gather. This third day of your Kenya Trips delivers adventure, history, and conservation in one unforgettable experience.
Day 4 – Tsavo West to Nairobi
The final morning of your Kenya Trips begins with an early game drive in Tsavo West. At dawn, predators are most active, and the volcanic landscapes glow in the soft morning light. Giraffes feed on acacias, elephants move toward waterholes, and lions may be spotted returning from a night’s hunt.
After the drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast, check out, and begin the journey back to Nairobi. Lunch is served in the city before a transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
