Days 1โ2: Arrive in Kasane & Explore Chobe National Park
Your adventure begins when you arrive at Kasane Airport, where youโll be met and transferred to Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent lodge located inside Chobe National Park. The park is famous for its dense populations of elephants and buffalo, particularly along the Chobe River during the dry season. Your stay includes morning and evening game drives, river cruises, and boat safaris, giving you a front-row seat to some of the most exciting wildlife viewing in Africa. During the day, you can relax at the lodge’s pool or indulge in a spa treatment.
Days 3โ4: Fly to the Okavango Delta โ Camp Moremi, Moremi Game Reserve
After breakfast, youโll transfer by road back to Kasane Airport and then board a scenic light aircraft flight to the Xakanaxa Airstrip in the Okavango Delta. From there, youโll be transferred to Camp Moremi, located in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve, overlooking the Xakanaxa Lagoon. This lush and wildlife-rich area is home to an impressive array of animals, from lions and leopards to kudu, waterbuck, and countless birds. You’ll embark on daily game drives and boat excursions, ideal for spotting both land and water-based wildlife. With its mix of open plains, wetlands, and woodlands, the Okavango Delta delivers some of Africa’s best all-around game viewing.
Day 5: Departure from Maun
On your final morning, youโll say goodbye to the Delta and fly by light aircraft to Maun Airport, arriving in time for your onward flight. Your 5-day Botswana safari may be short, but it delivers an intense and luxurious immersion into two of Africaโs top wilderness areas. You can also extend your adventure by adding other destinations in Southern Africa, such as South Africa, Namibia, or Zambia.
