Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, your Ravina Tours representative will greet you and transfer you to your luxury accommodation. Relax and recover from your journey while soaking in views of Mt. Meru or taking a dip in the pool. Accommodation: Gran Meliá Arusha
Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park → Karatu
After breakfast, set off on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and predator-rich ecosystem. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 550 bird species.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before heading to your highland retreat in Karatu for a restful evening. Accommodation: Kitela Lodge
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Safari → Serengeti National Park
Begin your day with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the Natural World”. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the highest concentrations of large mammals in Africa, including the critically endangered black rhino.
After a game drive and crater picnic, continue to the vast plains of the Southern Serengeti, entering through the Naabi Hill gate. Accommodation: Nyota Luxury Camp
Day 4: Serengeti Game Drive → Return to Karatu
Rise with the sun for a thrilling morning game drive in the heart of the Serengeti. Whether it’s a pride of lions on the move, a leopard in a tree, or herds of wildebeest on the march, the Serengeti never disappoints.
In the afternoon, begin the journey back to the Ngorongoro Highlands and return to Karatu for a night of relaxation. Accommodation: Kitela Lodge
Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park → Return to Arusha
Your final day includes a visit to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its flamingo-filled lake, tree-climbing lions, and scenic diversity. From groundwater forests to open savannah, this compact park offers one last chance to see elephants, baboons, and colorful birdlife.
After a picnic lunch, transfer back to Arusha or the airport of your choice.
