Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs
Your African Safari Trip begins with a morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel. After a scenic drive, arrive at Tarangire National Park, famous for its towering baobab trees and large elephant herds. On your game drive, you’ll also spot lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, and even the elusive African wild dogs. With over 500 bird species recorded, Tarangire is a paradise for birdwatchers. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park before continuing your afternoon drive. Later in the evening, transfer to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti – Wildlife Wonders
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five. The crater’s unique ecosystem supports lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeests, zebras, and even the endangered black rhino. After your game drive and picnic lunch in the crater, continue towards Serengeti National Park. Arrive by evening and settle into your lodge, ready for the next day’s adventures.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park – Big Five Safari
Spend a full day in the Central Serengeti, home to some of the park’s largest predator populations. Game drives provide opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and wildebeests. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration, a breathtaking natural event where millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains. End your day with a spectacular African sunset before returning to camp.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands – Scenic Return
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day game drive in Serengeti. The endless plains provide more opportunities to spot wildlife and capture stunning photographs. In the afternoon, drive back towards Ngorongoro and Karatu. On the way, keep an eye out for elephants, lions, and other game. Arrive at your lodge for dinner, a hot shower, and overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha
On your final day of this African Safari Trip, head to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Known for its tree-climbing lions, large hippo pools, elephants, giraffes, and baboon troops, this small park is also a birding paradise with more than 350 recorded species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before returning to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
