Day 1
Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Your exciting Kenya Safari Tours journey begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After meeting your professional safari guide, you will depart Nairobi and travel north through the fertile Central Highlands of Kenya.
The drive passes through beautiful countryside dotted with tea and coffee plantations, rural villages, and the foothills of Mount Kenya. Along the way, you will stop at the famous equator crossing at Nanyuki, where you can take photos and enjoy refreshments.
Continuing further north, the lush highlands gradually transform into the semi-arid landscapes of Samburu County. You will arrive at Samburu National Reserve around midday.
After checking in at your luxury tented camp, enjoy lunch and take time to relax while admiring the views of the surrounding wilderness.
Later in the afternoon, depart for your first exciting game drive. Samburu National Reserve is famous for its striking landscapes of acacia woodlands, open plains, and the Ewaso Nyiro River which attracts many animals.
During your game drive you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, crocodiles, and the unique Samburu Special Five.
Return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2
Full Day Exploration of Samburu National Reserve
Today you will spend the day exploring Samburu during your Kenya Safari Tours adventure.
Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. The riverbanks of the Ewaso Nyiro River attract many animals, making this an excellent location for wildlife sightings.
Your guide will track wildlife movements across the reserve, where you may encounter elephants bathing in the river, predators such as lions and leopards, and a variety of antelope species.
The reserve is also one of the best places in Kenya to observe the rare northern species known as the Samburu Special Five:
• Grevy’s zebra
• Reticulated giraffe
• Beisa oryx
• Somali ostrich
• Gerenuk
Return to camp for lunch and relaxation during the warm midday hours.
In the late afternoon, set out again for another game drive exploring different sections of the reserve including rocky outcrops and open savannah.
As the sun sets, the dramatic landscapes of Samburu glow in beautiful golden light, creating fantastic photography opportunities.
Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3
Samburu National Reserve – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, check out of the camp and begin your journey south toward the Laikipia Plateau and Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
The drive offers beautiful scenery as the landscape transitions from dry savannah back into greener plains and farmland.
You will arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch at your safari camp.
After lunch and some relaxation, depart for an afternoon game drive inside the conservancy.
Ol Pejeta is one of the most successful conservation areas in Africa and is home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa. The conservancy is also famous for protecting the last remaining northern white rhinos.
During your game drive you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, and many other wildlife species.
You may also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees are protected.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Full Day Exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, embark on another exciting game drive as part of your Kenya Safari Tours adventure.
The morning drive focuses on rhino tracking, offering excellent chances to see both black and white rhinos grazing across the open plains.
Ol Pejeta’s expansive grasslands also support large numbers of predators including lions, hyenas, and occasionally cheetahs.
The magnificent Mount Kenya can often be seen rising in the background, creating a dramatic setting for wildlife photography.
Later in the morning, you may visit the equator crossing located inside the conservancy before returning to the camp for lunch.
In the afternoon, depart for another game drive exploring additional sections of the conservancy.
During this drive you will learn about Ol Pejeta’s conservation work including anti-poaching initiatives, wildlife research programs, and partnerships with local communities.
Optional activities such as guided nature walks or night game drives may also be arranged depending on camp availability.

Day 5
Ol Pejeta Conservancy – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning or a short final game drive to take in the last views of Ol Pejeta’s wildlife and landscapes.
You may spot giraffes, zebras, elephants, and antelopes grazing across the plains before beginning your return journey.
Later in the morning, check out of the camp and depart for Nairobi.
The drive takes approximately three to four hours, arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport depending on your travel schedule.
