Day 1: Arrival in Chobe National Park
Upon landing at Kasane Airport, you’ll be met and transferred straight into Chobe Game Lodge, the only permanent lodge located inside Chobe National Park. Even your transfer to the lodge is a game-viewing experience, as the park is known for its dense populations of elephants, buffalo, and other big game. Settle in and enjoy your first taste of the wild.
Day 2: Elephants and River Adventures
Today is yours to enjoy the activities offered at Chobe Game Lodge. Go on game drives in open safari vehicles or take a relaxing boat cruise along the Chobe River. The lodge operates solar-powered vehicles and boats, and has an all-female guiding teamโunique and empowering! In between adventures, relax at the lodge or by the pool.
Day 3: Journey to the Okavango Delta
After breakfast, youโll be transferred to Kasane Airport for your light aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival at the airstrip, a short transfer takes you to Camp Okavango, a beautiful water-based camp perched on a private island. Built on raised wooden decks, this eco-sensitive lodge offers panoramic views of the Delta and a peaceful, immersive experience in nature.
Day 4โ5: Explore the Okavango Delta
Spend two full days enjoying water-based safaris in the Delta. Glide through winding channels on a traditional mokoro (dugout canoe), cruise in a motorboat, or opt for guided bush walks that bring you closer to the land and its animals. You may also have the chance to go fishing or spot birdlife including kingfishers, eagles, and herons. Every day offers something different, whether itโs elephants wading through the shallows or hippos wallowing at sunset.
Day 6: Farewell to the Delta
After one final early morning activity and breakfast, youโll say goodbye to the Okavango as you transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Maun, where you can connect to your onward travel. This concludes your unforgettable Chobe and Delta safari adventure.
