Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
You’ll be picked up in the morning from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel and driven to Amboseli National Park. You’ll arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After a short rest, you’ll head out at 3:00 pm for your first game drive, with the spectacular snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. After sunset, you’ll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Today offers flexibility. You can head out early for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, maximizing your chances of seeing elephants, especially around the swamps. Alternatively, enjoy an early morning drive, return for breakfast, relax at the lodge, and go out again for an afternoon safari and sunset views. Either way, Amboseli offers exceptional close-up elephant sightings and iconic mountain views.

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
After an early morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll travel to Tsavo West National Park. The landscape here is dramatically different, with lava flows, rolling hills, and dry bushland. After lunch at the camp, you’ll enjoy an afternoon game drive. Time permitting, you may visit Mzima Springs, a lush oasis home to hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight follow at your lodge.

Day 4: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast, you’ll leave Tsavo West for the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, about a 3-hour drive. You’ll enjoy a short game drive en route before arriving at Salt Lick Safari Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll explore the sanctuary on a game drive, seeking out zebras, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and other wildlife. You’ll return for dinner and a peaceful night at the lodge, known for its stilted rooms overlooking a busy watering hole.

Day 5: Taita Hills – Tsavo East National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive, then return to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, you’ll head to Tsavo East National Park, checking in at Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Tsavo East is known for its red-dusted elephants, the palm-lined Galana River, and the Yatta Plateau—the world’s longest lava flow. After lunch, you’ll head out for another game drive until sunset.

Day 6: Tsavo East – Nairobi
Begin with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast at the lodge. You’ll then journey back to Nairobi with wildlife sightings along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or the airport for your onward travel.
