Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your Kenya safari package starts with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Along the way, youโll enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in the dramatic escarpments and rolling savannahs.
By afternoon, youโll arrive at the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. After settling in at Miti Mingi Eco Camp, youโll embark on your first thrilling game drive. The Mara is renowned for its rich concentration of predators such as black-maned lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside elephants, buffalo, zebras, and countless antelope species. The endless plains provide perfect photo opportunities as you track wildlife in their natural habitat.
As the sun sets, youโll return to your lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara
Wake up to a hearty breakfast before setting out for a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara, a highlight of any Kenya safari package. The day begins with an early morning game drive, when predators are most active and the golden light of dawn illuminates the savannah.
The Mara is celebrated for its year-round abundance of wildlife and, between July and October, becomes the stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles cross the Mara River in one of natureโs most dramatic spectacles. With picnic lunch boxes packed, youโll spend the day traversing the reserve, maximizing your chances of spotting the Big Fiveโlion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight, recounting the incredible wildlife encounters of the day.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, the journey continues as you depart the Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenyaโs most picturesque destinations. Traveling across rolling landscapes, youโll enjoy a game and picnic lunch en route, arriving in Nakuru by late afternoon.
Once settled at Gold Suites Hotel Nakuru, relax and prepare for the following dayโs adventures. Lake Nakuru is world-famous for its huge flocks of flamingos that color the shoreline pink, as well as its rhino sanctuary that protects both black and white rhinos. With its combination of lakeshore, forest, and escarpments, Nakuru adds a unique element to your Kenya safari package.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Samburu via Pre-Breakfast Game Drive
Your morning begins with an early game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, maximizing your chances of spotting rhinos, Rothschildโs giraffes, and lions. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the parkโs rich avian life, with more than 450 species recorded.
After breakfast, youโll depart for Samburu National Reserve, located in Kenyaโs rugged northern region. En route, youโll enjoy lunch before arriving in the late afternoon. Samburu is distinct from the Mara and Nakuru, featuring dramatic arid landscapes, the meandering Ewaso Nyiro River, and wildlife species not found elsewhere in Kenya, such as Grevyโs zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Samburu
Today is dedicated to exploring Samburu National Reserve, one of the most rewarding stops on your Kenya safari package. After breakfast, youโll head out for an early morning game drive along the riverbanks and open plains, where elephants are often seen bathing and crocodiles basking.
The reserve is famed for its โSamburu Special Fiveโ: Grevyโs zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk, and Beisa oryxโwildlife species rarely found in southern parks. In addition, Samburu is home to lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants. After returning for lunch at camp, youโll head out again for an afternoon game drive, soaking in the regionโs untamed beauty until sunset.

Day 6: Samburu to Nairobi via Nanyuki
After breakfast, youโll depart Samburu and drive south toward Nanyuki, located at the base of Mount Kenya. This town serves as a gateway for climbers heading to the mountain. Guests with plans to trek Mount Kenya can be dropped off here.
After lunch, continue the drive back to Nairobi, marking the end of your 6-day Kenya safari package. Youโll arrive in the city by late afternoon and be dropped at your hotel or directly at the airport for your onward journey.
