Day 1: Welcome to the Delta
After arriving at Maun Airport, youโll be greeted by a representative and assisted to your scheduled flight into the Okavango Delta. From the airstrip, youโll be transferred to Nokanyana Camp, nestled on the banks of the Khwai River. This peaceful setting offers views of wildlife right from your roomโlook out for elephants, antelopes, and giraffes wandering the nearby floodplain. Settle in and begin your first night of safari adventure.

Day 2-3: Game Drives and Cultural Experiences
Spend two full days exploring the area around Nokanyana. You can choose between morning and afternoon game drives, bush walks, nature walks, or opt for a full-day safari in the Khwai region. The area is rich with wildlife and diverse vegetation, including open plains and riverine forest. Visit Mababe Village to see how communities coexist with wildlife. With just 10 rooms, Nokanyana offers a relaxed and personal experienceโperfect for families, couples, or solo travelers.

Day 4: Fly to a Water Camp

Day 5: Birding, Fishing & Delta Life
Enjoy your full day at Mopiri with options for birding, wildlife viewing, or fishing. The Delta is home to over 350 bird species, including rare sightings like Pelโs fishing owl and slaty egret. Mopiri is also known for great lure fishing (available from March to December). Whether youโre out on the water or enjoying the lodge, itโs a day to take in the magic of the Okavango.

Day 6: Return to Maun
