Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Upon arrival at JKIA, meet your driver/guide and company representative for a warm welcome and pre-safari briefing. Depart on a scenic drive via the Thika Superhighway, passing pineapple plantations and a quick stop at the Equator crossing for the famous Coriolis effect demonstration.
Arrive in Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring this dramatic, rugged reserve—home to the rare Samburu Special Five:

- Reticulated Giraffe
- Gerenuk
- Somali Ostrich
- Grevy’s Zebra

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch wildlife activity before the heat sets in. Return to the lodge for breakfast and leisure time—perhaps a swim or some quiet time overlooking the plains.
Later in the afternoon, head out for another game drive, looking for predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as over 350 bird species. Don’t miss the region’s fascinating antelopes and riverine wildlife along the Ewaso Nyiro River.Accommodation: Samburu Simba Lodge
Day 3: Samburu – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Samburu and head south to the Rift Valley. En route, stop at Thomson’s Falls in Nyahururu for a scenic photo break.
Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride across Lake Naivasha, followed by a visit to Crescent Island—a sanctuary for giraffes, antelope, and over 200 bird species. Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart early via the scenic flower farms of Naivasha, driving through the Rift Valley into the world-renowned Masai Mara.
Arrive for lunch, check-in, and enjoy some relaxation time before heading out on your first game drive in the Mara. With its sweeping savannahs and abundant wildlife, you’ll immediately understand why this is Kenya’s most famous reserve.Accommodation: Mara Simba Lodge
Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara
After breakfast, set out for a full-day safari across the Mara plains, with a picnic lunch packed for you. Search for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, and more.
You’ll also visit a traditional Maasai village (included), where you can learn about the local culture and customs through dances, demonstrations, and storytelling.Accommodation: Mara Simba Lodge
Day 6: Masai Mara – Nairobi (Departure)
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, stopping in Narok Town along the way. Arrive in the early afternoon (approx. 1:30 PM) and transfer to JKIA Airport for your international flight, marking the end of your unforgettable Simba Safari.
