Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
Your Tanzania tour begins upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where your safari guide greets you and drives you to Tarangire National Park. Famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers a dramatic introduction to the African wilderness. During your game drive, expect to see elephants moving in family groups, lions resting under acacia trees, and cheetahs scanning the savannah for prey. Leopards are often spotted here too, along with zebras, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest, and playful monkeys. As the sun sets, head to Ang’ata Tarangire Camp for dinner and your first overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the bush.

This area is especially rich in predators, and you’ll have excellent chances of seeing lions, cheetahs, and leopards in action. Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Central Serengeti
Your third day is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti, the heart of Tanzania’s most famous park. Lions are often found in prides near the riverbanks, while leopards watch from the branches of acacia trees. Cheetahs streak across the plains in pursuit of gazelle, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras add to the dramatic scenery. The endless horizons of the Serengeti make this one of the highlights of all Tanzania tours. After a full day of safari exploration, return to Serengeti Queens Camp for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Central Serengeti to Western Serengeti Corridor
Day four takes you to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, one of the most dramatic regions of Tanzania. During May and June, this area becomes the stage for the Great Migration, where massive herds of wildebeest and zebras move toward the Grumeti River. With luck, you may witness dramatic river crossings, where wildebeest plunge into crocodile-filled waters. Even outside migration season, the Western Serengeti offers superb wildlife viewing, with resident populations of buffalo, topi, gazelles, hippos, lions, and leopards. Birdwatchers will also enjoy the region’s diverse avian life. End your day with dinner and rest at Serengeti Simba Lodge, perfectly located for exploring this unique corridor.

Day 5: Western Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic transfer game drive from the Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Highlands. This journey allows you to spot wildlife along the way while experiencing a change in scenery as you move into the cooler, forested highlands. The Ngorongoro area is rich in elephants, buffalo, and birdlife, with sweeping views of craters and mountains. This stopover is a chance to enjoy fresh air and the lush landscapes of northern Tanzania before your descent into the Ngorongoro Crater tomorrow. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Your final day is one of the highlights of this Tanzania tour — the Ngorongoro Crater. After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Known as the “Garden of Eden,” the crater floor is teeming with wildlife. You’ll see elephants with giant tusks, endangered black rhinos, prides of lions, spotted hyenas, hippos wallowing in wetlands, and possibly cheetahs hunting across the open plains. With more than 25,000 animals packed into this natural wonder, it is one of the most spectacular safari experiences in Africa. After your game drive and picnic lunch, you will be driven back to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure.
