Day 1: Maun to Nxai Pan National Park
Your safari begins with a scenic drive from Maun to Nxai Pan National Park. Along the way, keep an eye out for elephants, zebras, ostriches, and other plains game. Upon arrival, settle into your mobile tented camp and prepare for your first taste of Botswanaโs wilderness.

Day 2: Explore Nxai Pan
The day starts with an early wake-up call followed by a hearty breakfast. Youโll then head out on a morning game drive to discover the expansive open landscapes and thriving wildlife. Return to camp for lunch and relaxation before embarking on an afternoon game drive to further explore the area.

Day 3: Full-Day Trip to Baines Baobabs
Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to the legendary Baines Baobabs, a group of ancient baobab trees made famous by the 19th-century explorer and artist Thomas Baines. A packed lunch will be served on site as you admire the surreal beauty of these iconic trees set on the edge of a salt pan.

Day 4: Nxai Pan to Boteti River (via Makgadikgadi region)
The journey continues southward to the Boteti River, located on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. This stop offers a break from camping, with a comfortable night spent at a lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive along the river, a haven for wildlife in the dry season.

Day 5: Boteti to Central Kalahari Game Reserve
After breakfast, youโll transfer to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, one of Africaโs largest and most remote protected areas. Along the way, admire the changing scenery from salt pans to semi-arid savannah. After setting up camp, enjoy an afternoon game drive to explore this wild and rugged terrain.

Day 6: Exploring Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Today is dedicated to exploring the Central Kalahari. Youโll set off on a morning game drive followed by a relaxing lunch at camp. In the afternoon, head out again to discover more of this unique and often underrated ecosystem. Expect to see springboks, oryx, bat-eared foxes, and possibly lions or cheetahs.

Day 7: Central Kalahari to Maun โ Departure
