Day 1–2: Central Kalahari Game Reserve
After arriving at Maun Airport, you’ll take a light aircraft flight to Tau Pan Airstrip. You’ll spend two nights at Tau Pan Camp, the first permanent camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. This area is known for its remote, open landscapes and desert-adapted wildlife. Activities include game drives, guided bush walks with San Bushmen, and stargazing. Wildlife sightings often include oryx, springbok, jackals, and brown hyenas.
Day 3–4: Okavango Delta
On Day 3, you’ll fly to the Okavango Delta, landing at Pom Pom Camp. This camp sits in a private concession on the edge of the Moremi Game Reserve and is surrounded by the Delta’s winding waterways and palm islands. Over the next two days, you’ll enjoy mokoro canoe safaris (water-level dependent), game drives, night drives, walking safaris, and birdwatching. The Delta is home to elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, and over 400 bird species.
Day 5–6: Chobe National Park
You’ll fly from Pom Pom to Kasane, then transfer to Chobe Bakwena Lodge near Chobe National Park. This park is famous for having the largest elephant population in Africa. Activities include game drives and boat safaris along the Chobe River, where you may see elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and big cats. Optional activities include village walks, fishing, or cycling (at an extra cost). You’ll spend two nights here, enjoying the views and wildlife.
Day 7: Departure from Kasane
After breakfast, you’ll transfer to Kasane Airport for your onward flight. You’ll leave with incredible memories of Botswana’s diverse landscapes and wildlife encounters, from the desert plains to lush riverbanks.
