Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Moshi
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. You will then be transferred to your lodge in Moshi town.
The drive offers your first glimpse of Tanzania’s landscapes, setting the tone for your upcoming adventure. Once at the lodge, you can relax after your journey.
Dinner and overnight stay will be at your accommodation as you prepare for the Kilimanjaro hike the following day.
Day 2: Kilimanjaro Day Hike – Mandara Hut
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marangu Gate for registration before beginning your hike. Accompanied by a professional guide, you will trek through dense rainforest filled with birds and monkeys.
The trail leads to Mandara Hut, offering scenic views and a refreshing mountain experience. You will enjoy a picnic lunch while surrounded by nature.
After the hike, you will descend back to the gate and transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The journey offers beautiful views of the Tanzanian countryside.
You will enjoy a game drive through the park, spotting wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators. A picnic lunch will be served within the park.
In the evening, you will head to your lodge near Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive toward the Serengeti, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, you may stop at viewpoints to enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
The journey includes game viewing en route, offering chances to spot wildlife even before reaching the Serengeti plains. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the way.
Upon arrival, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive before heading to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Today is dedicated to exploring the vast Serengeti National Park. You will embark on a full-day game drive, searching for the Big Five and other wildlife across the endless plains.
The park is also home to a rich variety of bird species, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Your guide will help you track animals and understand their behavior.
In the evening, you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay. Optional activities such as a balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will depart the Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying wildlife viewing along the way. The journey offers scenic landscapes and chances to spot animals.
Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for a game drive in one of Africa’s most unique ecosystems. The crater is home to a high concentration of wildlife, including the rare black rhino.
After exploring the crater, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure – Transfer to Airport
After breakfast, you will relax at the lodge while reflecting on your safari experience. Depending on your flight schedule, you will prepare for departure.
You will then be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. The journey marks the end of your unforgettable adventure.
You leave with lasting memories of Kilimanjaro and Tanzania’s incredible wildlife.
