Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara
Your Africa Safari Trip begins in Nairobi with an early morning pickup from the airport or your hotel at around 6:30 am. After meeting your safari driver-guide and receiving a short briefing, depart for the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination.
The journey takes you through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, where you’ll stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the sweeping escarpments and photograph the vast valley below. Continuing through Narok, the gateway town to the Mara region, you’ll arrive at your camp around midday.
After lunch and a short rest, head out on your first afternoon game drive across the sweeping savannahs of the Maasai Mara. This ecosystem is home to elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous antelope species. As the golden African sunset paints the plains, return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara
Spend the entire day exploring the extraordinary wilderness of Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most famous safari destinations. After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive across rolling savannahs, acacia woodlands, and riverine forests.
The Maasai Mara is renowned for hosting the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the most dramatic wildlife spectacles on earth. Between July and October, millions of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, often pursued by crocodiles and big cats.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pools, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles resting in the water. Continue exploring the reserve in the afternoon while searching for lions resting on rocky outcrops, cheetahs scanning the plains, and elephants moving gracefully across the grasslands.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the African night sky.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, you may choose to visit a traditional Maasai village, where you’ll learn about the culture, traditions, and daily life of the Maasai people.
Later, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, traveling through scenic landscapes that include views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha along the floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Arrive in the afternoon and check into your hotel. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingo populations and its successful rhino conservation program. Relax in the evening and prepare for the next day’s wildlife adventure.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
Start the morning with a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its spectacular birdlife and diverse wildlife habitats. The alkaline lake often attracts thousands of flamingos that create a stunning pink shoreline.
During your safari drive, you may encounter both black and white rhinos, buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, baboons, and many bird species. The park’s forests and grasslands also support leopards and lions.
After the game drive, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the late afternoon. The rest of the evening is free for relaxation or exploring the city.

Day 5: Nairobi to Arusha
After breakfast, begin the Tanzania section of your Africa Safari Trip. Transfer to the shuttle bus station and travel south toward the Namanga Border.
After completing immigration procedures, continue your journey into Tanzania and arrive in Arusha by mid-afternoon. Arusha is known as the safari capital of northern Tanzania and serves as the gateway to many of the country’s famous national parks.
Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at your hotel before the next phase of your adventure begins.

Day 6: Arusha to Serengeti
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, offering breathtaking views of the crater highlands.
As you descend into the Serengeti plains, wildlife sightings begin almost immediately. This iconic park is home to enormous herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
Spend the afternoon on a game drive before arriving at your campsite for dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, when predators are most active and wildlife sightings are often spectacular.
After breakfast, depart for the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, part of the wider Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This massive volcanic caldera is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife habitats and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon arrival, check into your campsite perched on the crater rim, where you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views over the crater floor below.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
On the final day of your Africa Safari Trip, descend approximately 600 meters (2,000 feet) into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable morning game drive.
The crater floor is one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense environments and offers excellent chances of seeing the Big Five in a single day. Lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos roam across its diverse habitats of grasslands, forests, and soda lakes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending and driving back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end in the evening.
