Day 3: Karatu to Central Serengeti

Day 4: Central to Northern Serengeti – The Migration Zone
Journey north through the Serengeti, searching for wildlife and soaking in ever-changing landscapes. During this season, Northern Serengeti is the epicenter of the Great Migration. Accommodation: Enkutoto Migration Camp (Mid-range seasonal tented camp)
Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Witness the Mara River Crossing
Spend the day near the Mara River, where massive herds gather to cross—despite the threat of crocodiles, lions, and cheetahs. This is one of nature’s most powerful shows, and your guides will position you in the best viewing areas. Accommodation: Enkutoto Migration Camp
Day 6: Return to Central Serengeti
With memories of the north still fresh, return south for a final exploration of the Serengeti’s central region, home to large lion prides and elusive leopards. Accommodation: Nyota Luxury Camp
Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Drive out of the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera. Spot endangered black rhino, lion, and vast herds on the lush crater floor. Continue to Karatu for the night. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge
Day 8: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Your final day takes you to the lush and compact Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, baboons, and Rift Valley escarpment views. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
