Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Safari Briefing
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you’ll be met by our Eastco transfer team and taken to your hotel in Arusha. Relax at Summit Safari Lodge, where you’ll enjoy the cool breeze from Mount Meru and prepare for the adventure ahead. In the evening, your guide will meet you to brief you on the details of your Tanzania Safari Trip.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Elephants & Baobabs
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its massive elephant herds and giant baobab trees. Spend the day game driving with a picnic lunch, watching lions stalk prey, giraffes grazing, and wildebeest moving across the grasslands. Tarangire is also a birdwatcher’s paradise with more than 500 species recorded.
In the evening, enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Acacia Tarangire Luxury Camp, offering comfort in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park – Tree-Climbing Lions
Today, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a gem of the Great Rift Valley. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and flocks of flamingos, Manyara also offers sightings of elephants, hippos, and large troops of baboons. Enjoy your picnic lunch with views of the soda lake shimmering in the distance.
By late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm House, surrounded by coffee plantations and beautiful highland scenery.

Day 4: Into the Serengeti – Land of Endless Plains
After breakfast, journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend onto the iconic plains of the Serengeti National Park. This is the heart of your Tanzania Safari Trip, where vast savannahs stretch as far as the eye can see.
Game viewing begins as soon as you enter the park, with lions, leopards, elephants, and giraffes making their appearances. Arrive at Serengeti Pure Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5–6: Serengeti Migration Safari
Spend two full days following the Great Wildebeest Migration, depending on the time of year. Whether you’re watching herds thunder across the Mara River (July–October) or witnessing the calving season in Ndutu (December–March), the experience is unforgettable.
Alongside the herds, expect to see predators such as cheetahs, lions, and hyenas in action. Even outside migration season, Serengeti teems with wildlife year-round, ensuring remarkable game drives. Return each evening to the comfort of Serengeti Pure Luxury Camp.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before heading toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, stop for a picnic lunch before ascending to your lodge near the crater rim. The evening will be spent relaxing at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp, with panoramic views of the lush landscapes.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha/Kilimanjaro Departure
Your final day begins with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the densest wildlife habitats on earth. On this game drive, expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight. We recommend booking evening flights departing after 18:00.
