Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Known as the โPark of Giantsโ because of its enormous elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire offers a true wilderness feel. Game drives take you through sweeping savannahs where wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and buffalo graze while predators like lions and leopards quietly stalk nearby.
At midday, youโll enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Tarangire River, a lifeline that attracts countless animals, especially during the dry season. In the afternoon, continue exploring the parkโs varied landscapes, including seasonal swamps and acacia woodlands, before heading to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, your Africa Safari Tanzania takes you to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular safari destinations in Africa. Descend 600 meters into the worldโs largest intact volcanic caldera, where a natural amphitheater shelters a remarkable density of wildlife. Here, youโll have the chance to spot the famous Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the critically endangered black rhino.
The crater floor is alive with wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, while hippos wallow in the pools and flocks of flamingos decorate Lake Magadi with pink hues. Picnic lunch is served at a scenic spot within the crater, surrounded by animals. In the afternoon, ascend back up the crater rim, pausing to admire sweeping views of this breathtaking natural wonder before returning to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
On the final day of your Africa Safari Tanzania, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush sanctuary at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Begin your adventure in the groundwater forests, where troops of baboons and blue monkeys play among the towering fig and mahogany trees. Continue toward the open floodplains to encounter elephants, giraffes, and buffalo grazing against the dramatic Rift Valley backdrop.
Lake Manyara is also world-renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions, which may be spotted lounging on branches. Along the lakeshore, thousands of flamingos create a pink spectacle, joined by pelicans, storks, and other bird species. After a rewarding game drive and lakeside views, youโll depart the park and return to Arusha, where your safari concludes with drop-off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
