Your Big Five Safari begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or the city center. Depart at approximately 7:30 AM and enjoy a scenic 5–6 hour drive toward the legendary Masai Mara. Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for panoramic photos of the spectacular landscape. After descending the escarpment and passing through Narok, continue to your tented camp for lunch and check-in. At 4:00 PM, head out for your introductory sunset game drive. This is an excellent time to explore the savannah and look for predators such as lions and cheetahs as they become more active. Return to camp for a buffet dinner and an evening around the campfire.
