Every family once in a while need to break from the usual routine and ours had been talking about taking a short holiday safari for months. It Didn’t Take Long Before We Felt Completely at Home
After settling into our family accommodation, one thing became obvious we had chosen exactly the right place. the rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable enough for everyone to relax after the journey. Instead of rushing indoors to watch television our children were eager to spend time outside exploring the beautiful grounds. The expansive lawns gave them plenty of room to run around safely while we enjoyed sitting on the veranda watching them laugh and play without a single worry.

Our family enjoyed boat rides across lake Naivasha and it quickly became the highlight of the trip. Watching fish eagles swoop down to cathc their prey was something that none of us will forget abytime soon.
Another memorable outing took us to the nearby Cresent Island where we walked among zebras, wildebeests, giraffes and antelopes without any barriers that are usually found in most wildlife parks. Seeing our children experience wildlife up close while asking questions was what made our visit even more rewarding. Back at Loldia House, there was always something peaceful waiting for us. Whether we were taking a gentle walk through the gardens, relaxing beneath the shades of nature trees or simply enjoying the spectacular views of the lake every moment encouraged us to enjoy each others company.

Beautiful sceneries doesn’t make lasting memories. For us it was the people that made the biggest difference. From the moments we arrived until the day that we left wvwery member of our family with genuine kindness. They were especially patient with the children always greeting them with smiles while making them feel welcome through our stay. It was the colllection of thoughtful details, genuine hospitality and shared family experiences that made the trip unforgettable.
Final Thoughts
As we packed the car to head home none of us seemed ready to go home. The children were already asking if we could go back while my friend and I agreed that this had been one of our most relaxing family holiday in years.
