Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Your Tanzania Safari Trip begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short safari briefing, you’ll travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying sweeping views of the Great Rift Valley and glimpses of Maasai villages along the way.
As you enter the southern Serengeti plains, your first game drive begins. Expect to see large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, alongside predators such as lions and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue deeper into the park to the central Seronera region, renowned for its year-round wildlife and Big Five sightings.
Dinner and overnight will be at Moyo Tented Camp, where you’ll enjoy the sounds of nature under the African night sky.

Day 2: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Start your day with a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti, when predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas are most active. The golden light at dawn makes this the perfect time for photography as elephants, giraffes, and antelopes begin their day.
Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the Serengeti’s endless savannahs before continuing your afternoon game drive. Depending on the season, your guide may take you toward areas favored by the migration herds.
Later, drive toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at Crater Forest Lodge, where you’ll have dinner and overnight with views of the highland forests.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places in Africa to spot wildlife in a concentrated area. The crater is home to over 25,000 animals, including elephants, hippos, buffalo, lions, and the critically endangered black rhino.
You’ll also see soda lakes filled with flamingos and pelicans, alongside open grasslands where wildebeests and zebras graze under the watchful eyes of predators. After a scenic picnic lunch inside the crater, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving by late afternoon.
