Day 1&2
Into the Wild – Explore the Legendary Masai Mara
Your Safari in Kenya begins in Nairobi with a morning departure for the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The approximately 4–5-hour drive takes you through changing landscapes and rural Kenyan scenery before reaching the Mara. After arrival, check into Jambo Mara Safari Lodge and enjoy lunch before heading out for your first afternoon game drive.
The Masai Mara is one of Africa’s most rewarding wildlife destinations, offering excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes and other wildlife. Your professional driver-guide will help locate animals while explaining their behavior, habitats and role within the ecosystem.
Day 2 is dedicated to exploring more of the reserve through morning and afternoon game drives. The early morning is particularly rewarding because wildlife is active and the soft light creates excellent conditions for photography. During the afternoon, continue exploring the plains and riverine areas before returning to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After lunch and check-in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park. Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhinos, diverse birdlife and beautiful combination of lake, woodland and grassland habitats. Look for white rhinos, buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras, baboons, hippos and, with luck, leopards.
