Lake Naivasha is situated at a high elevation and is surrounded by lush vegetation, including papyrus along sections of the shoreline. The lake is well known for its rich birdlife and is home to many species of water birds. Hippos can also commonly be seen around the lake and along its shores.

The area provides a peaceful contrast to the busy wildlife activity of the Maasai Mara. Depending on the planned schedule, you can enjoy a relaxing experience around the lake or take part in an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha to explore the lake and observe hippos and birdlife from the water.

After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and continue your Kenya Safari Tour towards Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you across changing landscapes as you travel towards southern Kenya and the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Arrive in the Amboseli area and check in at your accommodation before enjoying lunch. Later in the afternoon, head into Amboseli National Park for a game drive.

Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations, particularly known for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park features open plains, seasonal wetlands, acacia woodland, and dry lakebed landscapes, creating an excellent habitat for a variety of wildlife.
