 Loyk Mara Camp is located on an open hillside in the prime Mara Olare Motorogi Conservancy area of the Maasai Mara in southwest Kenya .The camp is accessed  through talek gate which is 260km from Nairobi. The camp offers a serene and private experience. Its prime location gives guests access to abundant wildlife and incredible landscapes, while also ensuring a peaceful retreat away from the crowds.

Loyk Mara Camp features 16 spacious, luxurious en-suite tents, each offering modern amenities and a private  verandah.It also has 10 fabulous luxury en suite room that accommodate a business and leisure traveller.1 family suite and 8 tents which are set as single,double and triple room.

Each tent features a mosquito tent,work desk,safe,coffee making facilities,suite bathroom with a flushing toilet,solar powered hot shower,and a 24 hrs electricity.

The camp has an onset restaurant that accommodates over 25 guests enjoying the food service.The dining and lounge are set on  a deck that provide the view of  the savanna plains.The bar serves guest freshly made juice,cocktails, and imported wine list while relaxing just admiring the view.

The camp has a small traditional masai manyatta open for guest to learn more about masai cultures.There Is also an outdoor swimming pool.

How to get there

The nearest airstrip is the O-lKiombo which is 20 km from the camp (45 minutes by Air from Nairobi and the closest airport to Loyk Mara Camp is Olare Airport, 8.0 km away.

The camp is 280km from Nairobi taking around 5-6 hours by road .

Best time to visit

Best time to visit Loyk Mara Camp, is during the high season, from July to October, since the camp offers better views of where the migration happen since it ideal location is at the Mara river.

It’s about 260 km (5–6 hours by 4×4 from Nairobi), or a 45-minute scheduled flight from Wilson Airport to Olkiombo Airstrip, followed by a scenic 30-minute drive via game-viewing routes
