Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your Kenya Safari Tour begins in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel or apartment in Nairobi. You will be transferred to the safari office, where you will meet other travelers joining the group. After everyone is ready, you will leave Nairobi and begin the journey towards the famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
The drive takes you through the beautiful Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you will have a short stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can enjoy wide views of the valley and take photographs. Continue towards the Masai Mara and arrive at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and check-in.
After lunch, take some time to refresh and relax before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Your experienced driver-guide will take you through the open savannah in search of Kenya’s famous wildlife. You may see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and cheetahs. The Masai Mara is also one of the best places to search for leopards.

Day 2
Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the lodge before starting a full day of wildlife exploration on your Kenya Safari Tour. Carry a picnic lunch and set out with your professional driver-guide to explore the vast plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
The Masai Mara forms the northern part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and is famous for its large variety of wildlife. During the game drive, you will have many opportunities to search for lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other animals. Your guide will help you locate wildlife and explain more about their behavior and the natural environment.
One of the main highlights of the day is a visit towards the Mara River. The river is an important part of the ecosystem and is closely linked to the annual wildebeest migration. During migration season, large numbers of wildebeest and zebras may gather in the area. Wildlife sightings depend on the season and natural animal movements.
Enjoy your picnic lunch while surrounded by the beautiful African wilderness before continuing the game drive. After a full day of exploring, return to Masai Mara Sopa Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
