Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Your 4-day Kenya wilderness safari begins in Nairobi, where we will pick you up from your hotel or agreed meeting point in the morning. You will meet your professional safari driver-guide, settle into your 4*4 safari vehicle, and begin your journey towards the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.
The drive takes you through changing Kenyan landscapes, from Nairobi’s busy streets to open countryside, rolling plains, small towns, and traditional Maasai settlements. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, one of Kenya’s most scenic roadside stops. Here you will take some time to stretch your legs, enjoy the panoramic views, and capture photographs of the dramatic views.
You will continue towards Narok, the main town and gateway to the Masai Mara. Depending on your travel schedule, you can stop for refreshments or a short break before continuing towards the reserve.
As you approach the Masai Mara, the scenery begins to change dramatically. The green countryside gives way to wide-open grasslands with acacia trees. Keep your camera ready, you may begin spotting wildlife even before reaching your accommodation.
You will arrive at your selected accommodation around lunchtime. You will check in, enjoy lunch, and take some time to rest after the 5-hour journey.
For travelers with young children, this is a good opportunity to relax before heading out for the afternoon game drive rather than rushing straight into another activity.
Later in the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara in search of wildlife.
As the day comes to a close, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve
This day will be dedicated entirely to exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve, giving you more time to experience the wilderness without packing up and moving to another destination.
You will start your morning with an early breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive. The early hours are among the best times for wildlife viewing, as many wild animals are active before temperatures rise.
Around midday, you will stop at a designated area for a picnic lunch or return to your accommodation, depending on your preferred safari style. This is also a good time to relax, especially for families with children. You can enjoy lunch, take a short rest, and prepare for the afternoon adventure.
You will continue your exploration in the afternoon when wildlife becomes active again. You will visit different sections of the reserve in search of species you may not have encountered during the morning game drive.
The Mara River may also be included in your route where you will see hippos ans the Nile crocodiles or if you are visiting between July and October you will witness the spectacular wildebeest migration.

Day 3
Masai Mara Wilderness Experience
You will wake up to another beautiful morning in the Masai Mara. After breakfast, you will proceed to another day of exploring the reserve. Since you are staying in the Mara for multiple nights, this day gives you the flexibility to explore areas you may not have reached on the previous game drive.
You will begin with an early morning game drive, when the savannah is cool and wildlife is often most active. Your guide will follow fresh tracks and recent wildlife sightings, looking for predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.
As you go deeper, the Mara’s scenery changes as you move through the reserve. You may pass open grasslands, acacia-dotted plains, seasonal streams, and areas close to the Mara River. Remember, each landscape attracts different species, making the drive feel different from the previous day.
You will then return to your lodge or camp around midday for lunch and some downtime. This slower approach gives you the opportunity to enjoy the lodge or camp rather than spending the entire day inside the vehicle.
Families can use this time to let children swim, rest, or simply enjoy the surroundings. On the other hand, couples and other travelers can relax, enjoy lunch, or take in the views before afternoon activities.
Later in the afternoon, you may choose to head back into the reserve for another game drive or go for an optional Maasai cultural experience.
As the afternoon comes to an end, enjoy the magical sunset across the savannah before returning to your accommodation for dinner.

Day 4
Masai Mara to Nairobi
If you are up for one last adventure, leave your accommodation around sunrise when the savannah is cool and wildlife is often active. This final drive gives you one more chance to spot animals you may have missed.
For families with young children who prefer slower mornings, you can skip the morning game drive and enjoy a relaxed breakfast at your accommodation instead before check-out.
You will arrive in Nairobi in the Afternoon depending on the road and traffic conditions. You will then be dropped at your hotel, the airport, or another agreed location in Nairobi, marking the end of your 4-day wilderness adventure.
