Arrive in the Mara in time for lunch at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, giving you an opportunity to settle into your accommodation and enjoy the surrounding wilderness. After lunch and a short rest, embark on your first afternoon game drive across the expansive Mara plains.
The Maasai Mara is renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife. During the drive, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many other species. Continue toward areas around the Mara River, an important part of the greater Mara-Serengeti ecosystem. During the annual wildebeest migration, the river becomes a dramatic crossing point as huge herds move between Kenya and Tanzania.
