The Maasai Mara forms part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and is renowned for its exceptional concentration of wildlife and predators. The reserve provides habitat for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and numerous prey species including wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles. During the seasonal migration, enormous herds move through the ecosystem, attracting predators and creating dramatic wildlife encounters.
