Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli
You will be met by our safari representative at your hotel in Nairobi for a short briefing before beginning your Kenya Migration Safari. You will then drive south towards Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic wildlife destinations. The park is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. Along the way, you will pass through changing landscapes, local communities, and open countryside before reaching the park.
Amboseli offers a variety of habitats, including wide open plains, acacia woodland, rocky areas, dry bushland, and wetlands. These different environments support a rich range of wildlife throughout the year. During your afternoon game drive, you will explore the park in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and other animals. The wetlands are particularly attractive to wildlife during dry periods.
After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will leave Amboseli and travel towards the beautiful Lake Naivasha area. The journey offers an opportunity to enjoy Kenya’s changing scenery as you move from the dry landscapes around Amboseli towards the Great Rift Valley. After lunch, you will continue to Lake Naivasha and visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, a scenic wildlife area located on the eastern side of the lake.
At Crescent Island, you will enjoy a guided walking experience where you can observe wildlife at close range in a peaceful setting. The sanctuary is home to giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and other herbivores. Since there are no major predators on the island, walking among the animals provides a unique safari experience.
You will then enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. During the cruise, you can look for hippos in the water and enjoy excellent bird-watching opportunities. The lake supports more than 200 bird species, including African fish eagles, ospreys, herons, and other water birds. After the activities, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Naivasha to Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will depart Lake Naivasha and continue towards the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most celebrated wildlife destinations in Africa. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley and rural Kenyan landscapes before reaching the vast grasslands of the Mara.
The Masai Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is an important destination during the annual wildebeest migration. Throughout the reserve, you may encounter Maasai giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, topis, warthogs, baboons, hyenas, and many other species. Lions are frequently seen resting on the plains or moving through the grasslands in search of prey.
Cheetahs and leopards can also be spotted, although they are more difficult to find. During the migration season, usually between July and October, huge herds of wildebeest and zebras move through the Mara after crossing from the Serengeti. This spectacular natural event makes the destination a major highlight of any Kenya Migration Safari.
On arrival, you will check in, enjoy your meals, and relax at the lodge.

Day 4
Explore Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your morning game drive will take you towards areas around the Mara River, particularly during the migration season when wildebeest and zebras gather in large numbers. Between July and October, you may have the opportunity to witness dramatic river crossings, although sightings depend entirely on wildlife movement and natural conditions.
You will continue exploring the reserve in search of the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos. The Mara also provides excellent opportunities to see cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, hyenas, and numerous bird species.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a designated area within the reserve, allowing you to make the most of your full-day safari. In the afternoon, you will continue with additional game viewing before returning to the lodge before sunset.
For an additional experience, you can choose an early morning hot-air balloon safari. Floating quietly above the Mara plains provides spectacular views of wildlife and the landscape from the air. Another optional experience is a visit to a Maasai village, where you can learn about local traditions, homes, dances, and community life.

This provides one last chance to enjoy the scenery and spot wildlife before heading out of the reserve.
You will travel through the Kenyan countryside with an en-route lunch along the way. The return journey gives you time to relax after several days of wildlife adventures across Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and the Masai Mara.
You will arrive in Nairobi during the late afternoon.
