Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at around 7:00 a.m. You will leave the city and travel towards the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Kenya’s top wildlife destinations. The journey takes you through the beautiful Great Rift Valley, where you can enjoy views of the countryside, hills, farms, and local communities along the way.

Continue towards the Masai Mara and arrive at Enkorok Mara Camp in time for lunch. After checking in and enjoying your meal, take some time to relax and prepare for your first wildlife experience.

At around 4:00 p.m., head into the Masai Mara for an afternoon game drive. The reserve is home to a wide range of wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other animals. Your experienced driver-guide will help you look for wildlife and explain more about the animals and their natural environment.

Day 2

Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve

Start your second day with an early breakfast at around 6:30 a.m. before leaving the camp at approximately 7:00 a.m. with a packed picnic lunch. Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara, giving you plenty of time to explore the reserve and search for its rich variety of wildlife.

The Masai Mara is famous for its open grasslands and large number of animals. During the game drive, you may see Maasai giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, topis, gazelles, waterbucks, elands, baboons, jackals, and many other species.

Your guide will choose the best areas to explore based on wildlife movements and current conditions. You will also have opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy the natural scenery. The reserve is home to many bird species, so bird lovers can watch for ostriches, storks, falcons, bustards, cormorants, grebes, and other birds.

Enjoy your picnic lunch during the safari before continuing your game drive through the afternoon. As the day comes to an end, return to Enkorok Mara Camp for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay after a full day in the wilderness.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at around 6:00 a.m. before checking out and leaving the Masai Mara. Continue your safari towards Lake Nakuru National Park, one of Kenya’s most popular wildlife and birdwatching destinations.

The journey takes you through the Kenyan countryside, with changing views of villages, farms, hills, and open landscapes. After the drive, arrive at Sarova Woodlands Hotel & Spa in Nakuru in time for lunch. Take some time to relax after your journey before continuing with your afternoon adventure.

At around 4:00 p.m., head out for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park lies on the floor of the Great Rift Valley and features a mix of woodland, grassland, rocky ridges, and the beautiful Lake Nakuru itself.

During the game drive, you may see white rhinos, black rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, lions, and other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is also known for its birdlife and has long been associated with flamingos, although their numbers can change depending on water levels and food conditions.

Enjoy the park’s peaceful scenery and wildlife before returning to Sarova Woodlands Hotel & Spa for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and begin a short journey towards Lake Naivasha. This beautiful freshwater lake is located in the Great Rift Valley and is known for its peaceful surroundings, birdlife, and wildlife.

Arrive in Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and check in at Avian Court Hotel. After lunch, take some time to relax before choosing one of the optional activities available in the area.

You can enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you may see hippos in the water and a variety of birds along the lake shore. The boat trip provides a different way to experience the natural beauty of the area and offers good opportunities for photography.

Another option is a visit to Crescent Island, where you can enjoy a guided walking safari. The sanctuary is known for its peaceful setting and allows visitors to see animals such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other plains wildlife while walking with a trained guide.

These activities are optional and available at an additional cost. After your chosen activity, return to the hotel and enjoy the evening. Lake Naivasha provides a relaxing break between the wildlife experiences of Lake Nakuru and Amboseli.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Begin the day with an early breakfast before leaving Lake Naivasha and continuing your journey towards Amboseli National Park. The drive takes you through different parts of Kenya, offering changing views of the countryside, towns, farms, and open landscapes.

Continue south towards Amboseli, a park famous for its large elephant herds and beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at Nyati Safari Camp in time for lunch and check in before taking some time to relax.

Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park. The park has open plains, dry areas, acacia woodland, and wetlands that attract many animals. It is especially famous for its elephants, which can often be seen moving across the plains in family groups.

During your game drive, you may also see giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, lions, and other wildlife. Amboseli is also a great place for photography, especially when Mount Kilimanjaro is clearly visible in the background.

Continue exploring the park until the evening before returning to Nyati Safari Camp at around 6:30 p.m. Enjoy dinner and relax at the camp after an exciting afternoon of wildlife viewing.

Day 6

Amboseli to Nairobi

Wake up early for your final game drive in Amboseli National Park. The early morning is one of the best times for wildlife viewing because temperatures are cooler and many animals are active. During the drive, your guide will search for wildlife and may help you spot wild cats such as lions and other predators.

As the sun rises over the park, enjoy the beautiful morning scenery and, if weather conditions are clear, views of Mount Kilimanjaro. You may also see elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, and many birds during this final game drive.

After exploring the park, return to the camp for a full breakfast. Check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave Amboseli and travel towards Kenya’s capital city.

On arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your preferred hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your safari, after six days of exploring the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli National Park.
