Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your Kenya Wildlife Safari begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport. Depart the city and travel southeast toward Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of Kenya’s countryside, local villages, and open plains along the way. Upon arrival, check in at Penety Amboseli Resort and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax.
In the afternoon, prepare for your first wildlife adventure with a game drive through Amboseli National Park. The park is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Full-Day Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at the resort before continuing your Kenya Wildlife Safari experience. You can spend the morning enjoying the lodge facilities, relaxing around the pool, or taking in the surrounding scenery. After lunch, set out for an extended afternoon game drive in Amboseli National Park.
The park’s open grasslands, seasonal wetlands, and woodland areas provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Amboseli is particularly renowned for its elephant population, many of which can be seen moving across the plains with Mount Kilimanjaro forming a dramatic backdrop. Day 3
Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, leave Amboseli behind and travel toward the Great Rift Valley and the beautiful Lake Naivasha region. The journey offers changing scenery as you pass through rural communities, agricultural areas, and dramatic sections of Kenya’s Rift Valley landscape.
Arrive in the Naivasha area and check in at The Pelican Lodge, followed by lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat excursion on Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most scenic freshwater lakes. From the water, you may see hippos resting near the shoreline and fish eagles soaring above the lake.
You can also visit Crescent Island, where a guided walking experience provides the opportunity to observe giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife on foot. After the activities, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and continue toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through scenic Rift Valley landscapes before reaching the rolling grasslands of the Mara ecosystem.
Arrive around lunchtime and check in at Ol Moran Tented Camp. After lunch and a short rest, head into the reserve for your first Maasai Mara game drive. The reserve supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife and offers opportunities to encounter some of Africa’s most iconic species. Your guide will carefully explore areas where animals are frequently seen while explaining the relationships between predators, herbivores, and the surrounding ecosystem.
Depending on the time of year, you may see large herds of wildebeest and zebra crossing the plains.
