Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your Kenya Safari Tour begins with a morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi Airport. Depart for Amboseli National Park in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle, traveling through the scenic countryside along the Nairobi–Mombasa route. As you approach Amboseli, enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain, rising dramatically above the surrounding plains.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the open Amboseli plains in search of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, ostriches, and numerous bird species. Amboseli is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and stunning photographic scenery, especially when Mount Kilimanjaro is visible in the background. Day 2

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, set out for a full day of wildlife exploration in Amboseli National Park. The morning offers excellent opportunities to observe wildlife while temperatures are cooler and animals are active. Search the plains for large elephant herds, lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.

Continue to Observation Hill, one of the park’s best viewpoints, where you can enjoy panoramic views across the Amboseli ecosystem and take memorable photographs. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the day’s adventure before continuing with wildlife viewing across the park. Later, return to Amboseli Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Amboseli National Park to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey from Amboseli toward Lake Naivasha. Travel through changing Kenyan landscapes before making a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Enjoy the spectacular views across the valley and take photographs before continuing toward Naivasha.

Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most scenic freshwater lakes. Keep an eye out for hippos and a variety of bird species, including kingfishers, pelicans, herons, and other water birds. Later, enjoy a guided walking experience at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary, where you can walk among peacefully grazing giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Lake Naivasha to Hell's Gate to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out and head to Hell’s Gate National Park, a destination known for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, volcanic landscapes, and unique walking and cycling opportunities. Depending on your preference and local conditions, enjoy a bicycle ride, guided nature walk, or hike through Hell’s Gate Gorge while taking in the spectacular scenery.

Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive through the park’s diverse habitats. Search for white and black rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, lions, leopards, hippos, and numerous bird species. Day 5

Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve

Begin the day with breakfast followed by a morning game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park. Use the early hours to search for wildlife before leaving the park and continuing toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

The journey takes you through the scenic Kenyan countryside before arriving in the Mara in time for lunch and check-in. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first Masai Mara game drive. Explore the open savannah in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife. During the Great Migration season, typically between July and October, the Mara can also provide opportunities to witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains. Masai Mara National Reserve

Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the magnificent Masai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive across the reserve’s expansive grasslands, woodlands, and riverine areas. The Mara is one of Kenya’s premier wildlife destinations and offers excellent opportunities to encounter the Big Five as well as numerous other species.

Your experienced guide will take you to different wildlife areas in search of lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the Mara River, where you may spot hippos and crocodiles. During the migration season, the river can also become a dramatic crossing point for wildebeest and zebras. Continue exploring the reserve before returning to Zebra Plains Mara Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After breakfast, check out and begin your final day with a visit to a traditional Maasai village. This cultural experience provides an opportunity to learn about Maasai traditions, lifestyle, homes, clothing, music, and community customs. Enjoy traditional singing and dancing while interacting with members of the local community.

After the cultural visit, begin your journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, your guide can point out notable landscapes and landmarks, including views of Mount Longonot, an extinct volcanic mountain within Kenya’s Great Rift Valley. Continue to Nairobi, where you will arrive in time for lunch before being transferred to your hotel or Nairobi Airport for your onward flight.
