Day 1
Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with pickup from the airport in Nairobi. After meeting your safari representative and receiving a briefing about the journey, you will depart Nairobi for the Masai Mara National Reserve.
The drive provides an opportunity to see the changing landscapes as you leave Nairobi and travel toward Kenya’s southwestern plains. On arrival in the Masai Mara area, you will have lunch at your camp or lodge before settling in.
Depending on your arrival time and personal preferences, the afternoon can be used to relax at the accommodation or participate in an optional activity. Possible activities may include a cultural visit or nature experience, subject to availability and additional charges.
An optional afternoon game drive can also be arranged. The late afternoon is a productive period for wildlife viewing because temperatures become cooler and many animals become more active. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, antelopes and, with good fortune, predators such as lions and cheetahs.
As the sun approaches the horizon, you will return to camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

- Silver Goshen Mara Camp
Day 2
Full-Day Masai Mara Game Drive
After breakfast, you will set out for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, accompanied by your professional safari guide.
The Masai Mara is renowned for its open grasslands and diverse wildlife. A full day inside the reserve gives you more time to explore different areas rather than limiting your experience to a short game drive.
The morning drive is often productive for spotting wildlife because temperatures are cooler and many animals are active. Depending on seasonal conditions and animal movements, you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and a variety of antelope species. Cheetahs may also be seen in the open plains, although sightings are never guaranteed.
You will stop at a suitable location for a packed picnic lunch before continuing the afternoon game drive. Your guide will use knowledge of the reserve, recent sightings and prevailing conditions to determine suitable areas to explore.
The Masai Mara is also an important birding destination, with a wide range of resident and migratory species recorded within the ecosystem.
After the afternoon drive, you will return to Goshen Mara Camp for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 3
Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will leave the Masai Mara and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.
Depending on the day’s road conditions and schedule, lunch may be taken en route or at an appropriate stop before entering the Lake Nakuru area.
You will proceed for an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife and relatively compact landscape, making it possible to explore several areas during a game drive.
Lake Nakuru is particularly associated with rhino conservation, and visitors may have opportunities to see both white rhinos and black rhinos. Other wildlife commonly encountered in the park includes buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hippos and various antelope species. Leopards are present but are more elusive and should be considered a fortunate sighting rather than an expected one.
The lake and surrounding habitats also support a variety of bird species. Flamingo numbers can vary considerably depending on water conditions, food availability and seasonal movements, so large concentrations should not be presented as guaranteed.
After the game drive, you will leave the park and proceed to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will depart the Lake Nakuru area for Lake Naivasha, one of the freshwater lakes of Kenya’s Great Rift Valley.
Lake Naivasha lies at approximately 1,890 metres above sea level and supports a variety of aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Its shoreline and surrounding vegetation provide habitat for numerous bird species, while hippos are commonly associated with the lake.
You will have time to choose from available activities depending on your interests. Options may include a boat excursion on Lake Naivasha, a guided nature walk at Crescent Island, or activities in Hell’s Gate National Park.
Hell’s Gate is particularly suitable for travelers interested in combining scenery and outdoor activities. Depending on the activity selected, you may explore the park on foot or by bicycle and view its distinctive cliffs, gorges and volcanic landscapes.
Activities on this day are optional and carry additional charges unless they have been specifically included in your booking.
At the end of the day’s activities, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Accommodations:
- Silver Dove Nest Lodge
Day 5
Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will depart Lake Naivasha and travel toward Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival in the Amboseli area, you will have lunch at your camp or lodge before beginning an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is particularly well known for its large elephant population and expansive views toward Mount Kilimanjaro. When weather and visibility are favourable, the mountain provides a dramatic backdrop to the park’s wildlife and landscapes.
During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles and other plains wildlife. Lions and cheetahs are also present in the ecosystem, although predator sightings vary according to animal movements and conditions on the day. Your guide will select suitable areas for wildlife viewing based on the time available, current conditions and park regulations. You will return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

Day 6
Full-Day Amboseli National Park Game Drive
After breakfast, you will spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game-drive sessions.
The day provides additional time to explore different wildlife habitats and observe the park’s famous elephants. Amboseli’s open landscapes can provide excellent photographic opportunities, particularly during the cooler hours of the morning and late afternoon.
A picnic lunch will be carried for the day’s excursion, allowing you to spend more time in the park rather than returning to camp for lunch.
Your safari guide will help identify wildlife and explain animal behaviour, tracks, habitats and other aspects of the Amboseli ecosystem. Depending on conditions, you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes and various bird species. Predators such as lions and cheetahs may also be encountered, but sightings are not guaranteed.
If visibility is favourable, there may also be opportunities to photograph wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.
After the afternoon game drive, you will return to Amboseli Eco Camp for dinner and your final overnight stay on safari.

Day 7
Amboseli – Mombasa
After an early breakfast, you will depart the Amboseli area for Emali Railway Station.
From Emali, you will board the scheduled passenger train to Mombasa. The train journey provides a convenient way to continue from the safari circuit to Kenya’s coast.
On arrival in Mombasa, a transfer vehicle will meet you and take you to your hotel in Mombasa or the Diani Beach area, depending on your confirmed arrangements.
This marks the end of the safari portion of your journey. Accommodation in Mombasa or Diani is not included unless it has been added to your booking.
