Day 1
Nairobi → Masai Mara National Reserve
You will depart Nairobi early in the morning and travel towards the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. The journey takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley and the beautiful Kenyan countryside. The Masai Mara forms part of the larger Serengeti ecosystem and is famous for its abundant wildlife and the annual movement of wildebeest, zebras, and other grazing animals.
You will arrive in time for lunch and check in at your accommodation. After some time to relax, you will head out for your first afternoon game drive. Your guide will explore the plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and possibly cheetahs and leopards. As the afternoon progresses, the golden light creates excellent conditions for wildlife photography before you return to camp for dinner.

Day 2
Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara on a game drive. With a packed lunch, you can travel deeper into the reserve and spend more time searching for wildlife instead of returning to camp for lunch.
The Masai Mara is particularly famous for its large populations of big cats, including lions and cheetahs. Leopards may also be spotted resting in trees or moving through areas of thicker vegetation. The open grasslands support large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and buffaloes.
Your guide will select the best areas based on recent wildlife sightings and seasonal conditions. The Mara is also an excellent destination for birdwatchers, with hundreds of recorded species, including eagles, vultures, storks, bustards, hawks, falcons, and sunbirds

Day 3
Full-Day Masai Mara National Reserve
Today offers another full day of wildlife exploration in the Masai Mara. An early start gives you an excellent chance to encounter predators when they are most active. You will explore different sections of the reserve, following the seasonal movements of wildlife and searching for the Big Five.
The Mara provides excellent opportunities to observe animals in their natural environment. You may see elephants moving across the plains, giraffes feeding on acacia trees, large herds of zebra and wildebeest, and predators such as lions and cheetahs. Depending on the season, you may also witness dramatic wildlife interactions around rivers and waterholes.
A picnic lunch will be provided during the game drive, allowing you to maximize your time inside the reserve. Later in the afternoon, you will continue game viewing before returning to Enkorok Mara Camp.

Day 4
Masai Mara → Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will depart the Masai Mara and drive towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The route takes you through Kenya’s beautiful Great Rift Valley landscapes before arriving at the park.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its rhinos and diverse birdlife. The park is home to both black and white rhinos, while other wildlife includes buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, lions, and other species. The lake and surrounding woodland provide a beautiful setting for wildlife photography.
You will arrive in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Your guide will explore the park’s key wildlife areas and lakeshore before returning to the lodge in the evening.

Day 5
Lake Nakuru → Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will travel to Lake Naivasha, one of the most scenic freshwater lakes in Kenya. Located at approximately 1,910 metres above sea level, the lake is surrounded by green vegetation, papyrus, farmland, and beautiful Rift Valley scenery.
Lake Naivasha is particularly attractive to bird lovers, with hundreds of bird species recorded around the lake and its surrounding habitats. You may see kingfishers, herons, fish eagles, and other waterbirds. The lake is also home to large numbers of hippos, which can often be seen resting in the water during the day.
You will have time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Naivasha and can participate in optional activities such as a boat ride or visit to a nearby wildlife area, depending on your interests and available time.

Day 6
Lake Naivasha → Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, you will begin the journey from Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park. The route takes you across the Kenyan countryside towards the southern part of the country.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park contains open plains, dry lake beds, acacia woodland, and permanent wetlands where wildlife gathers.
After arriving and checking in at your lodge, you will enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. You may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, and various bird species. If weather conditions are favourable, you may also enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 7
Full-Day Amboseli National Park
Rise early for a game drive when wildlife is active and Mount Kilimanjaro often has its clearest views. With a packed lunch, you will spend much of the day exploring Amboseli National Park.
Amboseli is particularly famous for close encounters with elephants. Large elephant families can often be seen moving through the park’s wetlands and open plains. You may also encounter lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and numerous bird species.
After breakfast, an optional Maasai village visit can be arranged for travellers interested in learning more about local culture. A cultural visit may include traditional singing and dancing, an introduction to Maasai homes and daily life, and an opportunity to learn about the community’s traditions.
You will continue with game viewing before returning to Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Day 8
Amboseli → Nairobi
You will wake up for a final morning game drive in Amboseli. This provides one last opportunity to photograph elephants and other wildlife while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the park.
After the game drive, you will return for breakfast and check out. You will then begin your journey back to Nairobi, enjoying lunch en route. The drive takes you through the countryside before arriving in Nairobi at approximately 5:00 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions.
