Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Your 5-day Kenya Big Five safari begins in Nairobi with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or airport. Meet your professional safari guide, receive a brief briefing, and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Leave Nairobi behind as you travel through the Kenyan countryside towards the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes of rolling hills, farms, small towns and rural communities. Make a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and panoramic views before continuing to Nakuru.
On arrival at Lake Nakuru, proceed to your selected accommodation, enjoy lunch and take a short rest before heading into the park for your first game drive.
The afternoon safari introduces you to Lake Nakuru’s diverse wildlife and habitats.
As the afternoon progresses, continue exploring the park while enjoying the changing scenery and excellent photography opportunities. Later, leave the park and return to your accommodation for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 2
Full-Day Lake Nakuru National Park Big Five Safari
This day is dedicated to exploring Lake Nakuru National Park, giving you a full day to discover its diverse habitats and abundant wildlife.
Begin the day before sunrise with an early morning game drive. The cooler hours offer excellent opportunities to spot wildlife while many animals are active. Explore the park’s grasslands, acacia woodlands, and lakeshore areas in search of wildlife.
Return to your accommodation for breakfast and a short rest before heading out again.
Later, continue with another extended game drive through different sections of the park. Your guide will look for wild animals and other wildlife while explaining the park’s ecosystem and conservation efforts.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated location or return to your accommodation for lunch before continuing with the afternoon safari.
During the afternoon, explore more of the park’s open plains, woodland, and lakeshore habitats. Take time for wildlife photography and enjoy the changing scenery as the day cools.
Enjoy the day with a final game drive circuit before returning to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3
Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve
Day 3 marks the transition from the diverse landscape of Lake Nakuru National Park to the vast savanna plains of the Masai Mara. After two rewarding days around Nakuru, you will set off for one of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations.
Leave Nakuru and begin the scenic journey towards the Masai Mara. The route takes you through the Great Rift Valley countryside, small towns, farmlands and rolling landscapes. Your guide will make suitable stops along the way for refreshments, photographs and rest.
Continue towards Narok, an important town along the route to the Mara before proceeding to into the Masai Mara ecosystem.
Enjoy lunch en route or upon arrival at your selected lodge or camp. After a short rest and check in, begin your first afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara.
Spend the late afternoon exploring the savannah, taking photographs and enjoying the changing scenery. If conditions allow finish with a beautiful sunset over the Mara plains.
Return to your accommodation for dinner and relax for the evening.

Day 4
Full-Day Masai Mara Big Five Safari
Day 4 is the main wildlife day of your safari dedicated entirely to exploring the Masai Mara. With no major road transfer, you have plenty of time to discover different parts of the reserve and focus on the wildlife that makes the Mara one of the most famous safari destinations.
Start early with a morning game drive when the plains are cool and wildlife is often most active.
After several hours of Big Five viewing, stop for a bush breakfast in a designated area. Continue exploring the Mara’s grasslands, woodland and riverine habitats.
Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch before taking a short rest. The afternoon brings another extended game drive, providing opportunities to explore different areas and look for predators and other wildlife species.
As the day comes to an end, enjoy the beautiful evening atmosphere of the Mara before returning to your accommodation.

Day 5
Masai Mara to Nairobi ( Departure)
Day 5 marks the end of your 5-day Big Five safari.
Before leaving the Masai Mara, enjoy one final morning game drive, giving you a last opportunity to explore the savannah and look for wildlife you may have missed during the previous days.
After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast and check out. Begin the journey back to Nairobi through the scenic Kenyan countryside with a lunch stop along the way.
Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon or evening depending on road conditions and traffic. Your driver-guide will drop you off at your preferred hotel, residence or airport marking the end of your safari.
