Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your Tanzania Safari Trip begins with an early morning departure from your Arusha hotel. After a scenic 2.5-hour drive, you’ll arrive at Tarangire National Park, home to the highest concentration of elephants in Tanzania. Spend the day on a thrilling 9-hour game drive, exploring landscapes of river valleys, swamps, and iconic baobab trees. Expect to see giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and leopards, along with vibrant birdlife. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park. In the evening, continue to Mto wa Mbu for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro highlands toward Serengeti National Park. Along the way, stop at a viewpoint overlooking Ngorongoro Crater before entering the Serengeti. Known for its Great Migration and predator-rich ecosystem, Serengeti is the highlight of every Tanzania Safari Trip. Begin your first game drive in the Seronera region, where lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herbivore herds roam year-round. Arrive at your campsite before sunset, enjoy dinner, and fall asleep to the sounds of the wild.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Rise early for a sunrise game drive in Serengeti, the best time to witness predators hunting and wildlife bathed in golden light. After breakfast, enjoy another game drive before leaving the park. As you cross the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stop for optional visits to Olduvai Gorge or a Maasai boma (cultural village). By late afternoon, arrive at your lodge near the crater rim or in Karatu. Spend the evening overlooking sweeping views of Ngorongoro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s natural wonders.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
On the final day of your Tanzania Safari Trip, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most biodiverse safari destinations in Africa. Home to nearly 30,000 animals, the crater offers the chance to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino. Other sightings include hippos, hyenas, jackals, and countless flamingos around Lake Magadi. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater walls. In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
